Oatmeal is the best. It’s delicious AND it’s brain food. If we’re being real, you should be eating oatmeal pretty much every morning. It requires almost no effort. It’s vegan. It’s about as simple and straightforward as food gets.
Here’s an easy step-by-step to #mealprep your way to a healthier morning routine. With a little preparation - all you’ll need to do is grab a jar and add boiling water - your breakfast will take seconds to make, cost less than a buck, and be a very healthy start to your day.
Step 1: Get a ton of jars, some quick-cooking oats, brown sugar, trail mix, and some maple syrup and/or berries if you’re feeling fancy.
Step 2: Add a layer of quick oats to each one of the jars. Want specifics? Exact measurements? Well you’re not going to find that here. It’s oatmeal. Don’t over think it.
Step 3: Add some trail mix to your each jar. A small handful or so is awesome. Chia seeds are great too.
Step 4: Throw some brown sugar in there. As much as you want. It looks cool as it melts and life is short, yanno?
Step 5 (OPTIONAL): Get a BNTO. Put some fruit, berries, maple syrup, coconut flakes or whatever you want (you do you) into the BNTO. Anything that needs to stay separate or that is best added after you’ve added water.
Step 6: Seal ‘em up! You’re done! Step 6 isn’t even really a step!
